How can this be vegan if 'it may contain milk defeats the purpose!!

Answer:

Hi, thank you for your question. The Oat M!lk chocolate bars do not contain Milk derived from animals. They are made with plant based "milks". They are also certified as Vegan by the Vegan Society. The ingredients explain what the chocolate bars are made of.

It does tell you what they are made of! However, It actually says ' May contain MILK, nuts & soya. That was my point!!.

HI, you're correct . This line however is a legal disclaimer that a manufacturer that makes both Vegan and Non Vegan chocolate add because there is a chance of contamination within their production line. Howver as you see its been approved independently by Vegan Society.
